Whether in the icy crags of the rugged Alaskan Range, the tropical forests of South America, or simply wandering through the ancient cultures of Asia, Mike pursues the art of photography with the dedication of one immersed in the process, not merely the outcome. Mike's personal involvement with many of the activities he photographs provides the unique view of the participant. With over 35 years of practical, hands-on experience Mike can provide you with the images you desire for your home, office, wedding or upcoming project. Mike continues his work on a photo/video documentary of the world's 15 species of cranes. He also teaches the fundamentals of photography and leads various field trips around the world. Mike is currently accepting applications for a September, 2012 trip to photograph unique aspects of China's dynamic culture & geography. He is also leading a fall 2012 trip to Alaska to photograph the natural beauty of that unique state.
